My little novel is officially out in the world today and I am just so freakinnnnnn happy! I’ve dreamed of this day for so long and I now that it’s actually happening, it’s quite surreal.
So here is the official announcement: Butterfly Met Hurricane is in stores and shipping across the world and…I can’t even.
There were so many times I nearly quit and screamed myself into another dimension…but here I am. Author of two books. Don’t mind me as I explode into the sun.
Publishing excites me. WILDLY!! Getting my manuscript accepted. Sketching a schedule and GTM plan. Seeing my book’s cover for the first time!! Getting copy-edits back!! Unwrapping a box of author copies!! It’s just such a beautiful process.

Here is the blurb:
Diana Britto’s life is perfect. She’d married the love of her life ten years ago. She has a pretty daughter, a flat in Mumbai, a wonderful job, and a super-cool Instagram feed.

This book is the journey of a family through love, betrayal, death and preserved memories.
I set 80% of the plot of BMH in my actual hometown because, pfft why bother with imagination.
Rest of it is set in Delhi because I hope to live there someday.

I’m super proud of MY DISASTER DAUGHTER Kayal R Britto. Ugh, she is such a ridiculous mess and keeps making terrible decisions, but she feels like a real person to me and I just???
