“I Wish I Had More Resources” – Really?

“I wish I had more resources.”

“I wish I had more opportunities.”

“I wish I had more exposure.”

Really?

More resources, opportunities, and exposure are available. They might take time and money, but they are available.

But I’m guessing you’re probably not using all the resources and exposure you’ve already got.

So what you actually mean is, ‘I wish I had more focus and drive.’

And those, unfortunately, aren’t available for purchase.

It’s important to note that the effort you put into the work you are doing, and the change you seek from the world, it demands a clear-headed evaluation of whether you’re utilizing what you have to maximum potential. You need results. Not assurance.

And results don’t come from resources or exposure. It comes from knowing how to be efficient, and smart.

You may get stalled from your greater goal if you keep looking for more resources, oppurtunities, and exposure. Your quest to never leave a stone unturned – may actually end up poisoning your ambition.

Sometimes, you need to leave stones unturned.

If it’s the wrong stone, walk away.

The search for more is frenzied and a distraction.

Cherish what little you have. You are enough.
