Dear person who said Everything-Happens-For-A-Reason,
What drugs were you on?
Sincerely,
Lost-Girl.
I’m not usually this pessimistic, but pardon me; there is always some random crap in everyone’s existence that we just can’t explain. Why do certain episodes in life take up an evil turn without a happy ending to anticipate? I mean, is reason, way too much to ask for?
And whoever stated that there is a reason for everything that happens, wasn’t obviously acquainted with the theory of probability and random process. Sometimes you meet people, witness events, get your dreams shattered, loose certain people in your life, wander off, fall down and still live on to realise that none of it made any sense. You will only live to see that things happen because they just happened. That’s just it.
No, it did not happen to lead you anywhere.
No, it did not happen to lead you to anyone.
And, no it did not happen to bring change.
The monotony will just painfully persist.
I’m not generalising here. There are a lucky few, who can fall down, get up, and then move forward. Every step they take forward leads them somewhere. But I’m talking about those select few, who are literally caught up in an infinite loop of tedium that they just can’t figure a way out of.
False realities are equally cruel as well. It’s like a complicated mind game that you simply can’t fix it with the truth and it won’t stay with the lies. But false realities give you hope. It’s a display of how better things could have been.
But it’s okay. It’s okay when people change. It’s okay when things change. It might not lead you anywhere, but it will make you stronger. Or at least, that’s what we could best hope for. The strength to face and accept unhappy endings.
